Art Official Media was founded in 2005. We are a
publisher of urban books and art related media. We specialize in
publishing e-books, books, paperbacks,
audio, films and magazines that illustrate media and art from an
urban perspective.
In addition
to publishing, we handle the distribution for independent book publishers,
self published authors, independent record labels and film companies
that tailor to an urban market.
These subjects include but are not limited to
the business of the arts, biographies, autobiographies, how-to, memoirs,
short fiction, innovative novels, young adult and children works.
Art Official Media is headquartered in Baltimore, MD, home of
the hit urban series “The Wire.” Though in many ways “The
Wire” illustrates the reality of the urban landscape, it
is only a microcosm of what exist in every city within America.
Art Official Media produces media (film, audio, books and art)
from an urban perspective and through each product spread the art.
Although we have yet to produce a film, Art Official Media has
partnered with the premiere media entertainment wholesale provider
to distribute e-books, books, CDs and films for the market.
We distribute our published titles through the same wholesaler
that supplies all major studios and 90% of the independent book
stores, record stores, and film outlets.
All independent products are sold over the website and are marketed
offline by in house publicity department through press releases
and marketing campaigns of partner sites. We have partnered with
additional websites and freelance publishing services to offer
our clients a host of quality cost effective website design, website
promotion, typesetting, book cover design and distribution service.
Through God, support, persistence, and hard work, Art Official
Media will one day become the next Dreamworks.
